Our high standards apply also to our residential low care facilities
(formerly hostels) where the same high quality care is delivered at a less intensive
level, according to the needs of residents. In addition to excellent accommodation and
expert nursing care, support services such as personal care, catering, laundry, cleaning
and access to a vast range of allied health services are accessible in a secure and caring
environment.
Stimulating social interaction and increased flexibility enables residents in low care to
experience freedom and mobility within this framework. Activities such as happy hour,
BBQs, day trips, shopping outings and entertainment provide the fun and companionship
essential for a high quality of life.
Residents are encouraged to remain independent while receiving specialised nursing and
personal care as identified through comprehensive and regular individual assessment
processes.

AN INDIVIDUAL FOCUS
While our services are delivered to a large number of people, we constantly maintain
a focus on the individual, recognising their uniqueness and fostering an environment where
maximum independence can be achieved.
Residents in our care or in retirement villages are encouraged to maintain and develop
social and business links. Interaction and participation in community and social
activities is an important part of enhancing the quality of life of our residents.
